Announcing Movies
The Chamberlain announces the addition of the movie ratings database and the Netflix queue widget. Please see the Movies page.
The Chamberlain also begs forgiveness for this wholly un-called-for weekend post.

The Inspector begs differ that no apologies are necessary for weekend posts. They are perfectly welcome!
He does have a small query, however. How does one view WoPSR.net movie reviews/blurbs?
The Chamberlain appreciates the Inspector’s welcome acceptance of weekend posts. The Chamberlain’s concern over them is largely aesthetic, as they appear as odd lumps on the sides of his Calendar at upper left.
If there were any movies in the database with blurbs yet, they would appear as tiny little plus boxes to the left of the title. One would click this tiny box, and many, many hours of coding would kick in to adjust the length of the three Columns of WoPSR.net and to display the review. One might then hide from view the review (presumably after one has finished reading it, or at least after one has become disgusted with its contents) by again clicking the little plus box, which would, remarkably, have transformed into a little minus box.
However, the Chamberlain regrets to inform the Inspector, and all others, that Qwertz has not yet begun to re-review the films in the database. When movies are finally re-reviewed, the default sort order will change, moving newly re-reviewed films to the top of the list, where they will be prominently displayed.

Duly noted and many thanks, Mister Chamberlain!
It should go sine dictum that I have been posting reviews with blurbs for a while now. I appear to be watching more from the Netflix than from my own library slash backlog of yet-to-be-re-reviewed movies. Ah well. Y’alls gits whatcha pays fer.
